English Teacher Advocates For Porn In Schools
RSU22’s Sam Manhart defaults to “Book banning!” when confronted with facts
11/28/23
Hampden, ME - In a recorded conversation with RSU22 Hampden Academy High School English teacher Sam Manhart on November 7th, 2023, he gushes over the book, “The Bluest Eye.” This book is rated by BookLooks.org as four out of five on a negative scale as “Not For Minors,” because it contains “Obscene - References to sexual activities.”
It includes profanity, sexual assault, molestation, rape, racism and other inappropriate content for minor children. But Sam Manhart goes on to say that the author, Toni Morrison, is an “American treasure.”

It’s always interesting to listen to the far-left, the wokest of the woke when they try to make any attempt to defend the pornography and inappropriate books they personally drool over inside our public K-12 school libraries and classrooms. He was so into it, he may have been getting aroused just talking about this smut. English teachers seem to be so immersed in this garbage. Same situation with RSU22 “teacher” of the year, Kelsey Stoyanova who pushed anti-father, anti-police, trangender and LGBTQ books on 11 year olds inside the classroom with daily announcements, prizes and incentives to read them.
Sam Manhart appears to believe that a book is valuable to minor children because of the far-left awards the author has received. Author Toni Morrison received the Nobel Prize for literature in 1993 for “achievements that have conferred the greatest benefits to humankind.” Allegedly her novels were “characterized by visionary force and poetic import, giving life to an essential aspect of American reality.” The Bluest Eye is still not for minor children, regardless of this very ambiguous award.
Other Nobel Prize winners included: Antonio Egas Moniz, who pioneered the lobotomy. Aung San Suu Kyi, who remained silent during the genocide in Myanmar. Bob Dylan, for his “poetic expressions within the great American song tradition.” Elihu Root, who oversaw the brutal repression of the Philippines independence movement. But, the worst of the worst, Barack Obama, who received it just nine months into his first term of dividing America. So, the argument that Toni Morrison is a Nobel Prize winner just becomes a straw man argument with no real value.
Sam Manhart is the epitome of a useful idiot.
This guy appears to be drinking the American Library Association (ALA) Kool-Aid, where they placed “The Bluest Eye,” on their summer reading list for children. As stated in The Daily Signal article, The ALA encourages readers to “show your commitment to the freedom to read” by protecting the 13 books, all marketed to teenagers and young adults. The organization argues that some jurisdictions have banned the books for “LGBTQIA+ content” and because they are “claimed to be sexually explicit.” Mr. Manhart tries to use this “book banning” narrative with me.
The ALA is run by a “Marxist, lesbian” who believes that “Libraries need to be the site of socialist organizing.” But, I understand that the allegedly highly educated Sam Manhart may not be able to fully comprehend the division these inappropriate books push and that the ALA is pushing them on minors. That they are using taxpayer funded activists like Mr. Manhart to do their dirty work in an effort to destroy America. To remove the child from their parents. To be wards of the state.
Even the far-left PBS writes about “The Bluest Eye,” “Since its publication, the book has consistently landed on the ALA’s list of most challenged books. Reasons cited have included, ‘sexually explicit material,’ ‘lots of graphic descriptions and lots of disturbing language,’ and ‘an underlying socialist-communist agenda.’ One complaint simply called it a “bad book.”
“An underlying socialist-communist agenda” = Marxism.
Books like this are available to minor children behind the brick walls of the RSU22, Hampden Academy High School library. In the catalog listing of this disgusting book that Mr. Manhart was fawning over, it simply states, “The story of Pecola Breedlove profiles an eleven-year-old Black girl growing up in an America that values blue-eyed blondes and the tragedy that results from her longing to be accepted.”
I warn you, “The Bluest Eye" is absolutely revolting reading. Mr. Manhart says in our conversation that “The excerpts bother you?” Yes, they do and they should bother any reasonable person when relating this pervasively vulgar and inappropriate book to being in the hands of a 13 year old public school student.
"The Bluest Eye", by Toni Morrision, a book rated, “Not for minors.” by BookLooks.org.
However, it doesn’t state that, “This book contains profanity and derogatory terms; sexual activities including sexual assault and molestation; alcohol use; inflammatory racial and religious commentary and references, as BookLooks.org has detailed for you. As a critical thinker and an adult, you don’t have to “read the whole book” in order to know it’s gross and not intended for minor children.
Words used in the book: Ass - 1, Bitch - 1, Coon - 2, Fuck - 3, Nigger - 8.
We dive deeper into this “award winning” book and author, which also includes sexual violence toward women. Does this excerpt from the book satisfy Sam Manhart’s teaching needs? “He put his foot in her chest, and she dropped the pan. Dropping to his knee, he struck her several times in the face, and she might have succumbed early had he not hit his hand against the metal bed frame when his wife ducked,”
As he exalts about "The Bluest Eye," it also includes demeaning women. “Neither were they the sloppy, inadequate whores who, unable to make a living at it alone, turn to drug consumption and traffic or pimps to help complete their scheme of self-destruction, avoiding suicide only to punish the memory of some absent father or to sustain the misery of some silent mother.”
"The Bluest Eye" is ultimately about the rape and sexual assault of an eleven year old minor. Does Sam Manhart believe that elevating this book is perfectly normal for the impressionable young mind of a student? “He must rest his weight on his elbows when they make love, ostensibly to avoid hurting her breasts but actually to keep her from having to touch or feel too much of him. While he moves inside her, she will wonder why they didn't put the necessary but private parts of the body in some more convenient place…”
Does his glorification of "The Bluest Eye," seem very odd to anyone else reading this? “She hopes he will not sweat the damp may get into her hair; and that she will remain dry between her legs—she hates the glucking sound they make when she is moist. When she senses some spasm about to grip him, she will make rapid movements with her hips, press her fingernails into his back, suck in her breath, and pretend she is having an orgasm. She might wonder again, for the six hundredth time, what it would be like to have that feeling while her husband's penis is inside her.”
If you didn’t get enough of that disgusting content and make sure you know I find no joy in writing about this, maybe this next section will convince you that Sam Manhart a high school english teacher of Hampden Academy in Hampden, ME has at the very least some very odd behavior speaking to me about his book worship. “I stretch my legs open, and he is on top of me. Too heavy to hold, and too light not to. He puts his thing in me. In me. In me. I wrap my feet around his back so he can 't get away. His face is next to mine. The bed springs sounds like them crickets used to back home. He puts his fingers in mine, and we stretches our arms outwise like Jesus on the cross. I hold on tight.”
For a man to be reverting "The Bluest Eye" in the parking lot of a voting facility seems very, very peculiar to me, as the book goes on to describe raping the young girl while she is asleep, “But it ain't like that anymore. Most times he's thrashing away inside me before I'm woke, and through when I am…"
“Removing himself from her was so painful to him he cut it short and snatched his genitals out of the dry harbor of her vagina.”
Hampden Academy, where Sam Manhart is an english teacher, is just one of the hundreds of crappy public high schools in Maine and across our country. In the last true academic assessment done, prior to Covid, so you know it’s way, way worse now, results showed that over one third of all students were well below, or below expectations in english. Nearly two thirds of all students were well below, or below expectations in math. That nearly half of all students were well below, or below expectations in science. But each year, they want more and more of your property taxes for their continued educational failure.
In the State of Maine, per the Nation’s Report Card, only one in three kids can read at proficiency and only one in four kids can perform math at proficiency. It’s an educational crisis in Maine. Because of people like Sam Manhart. I tell every parent I speak with, pull your kids now and homeschool if you want your child to get an actual education. You could be the worst homeschool parent and do ten times better than sending them to a school like Hampden Academy.
When the far-left run out of their preprogrammed narratives, or realize that I have all the facts and the Truth on my side, they freak out. To this point Sam Manhart shouts, “Book banning!” No one I have ever met wants to “ban books.” You know who is actually banning books? Librarians.
If parents want to purchase these inappropriate and hyper-sexualized books on outlets such as Amazon with their own money and give them to their woke kids, I don’t agree, but that’s your right given by the Fourteenth Amendment. I also believe in the First Amendment and I believe in our rights as Americans to speak about nearly anything we want to, nearly anywhere we want to say it.
So, I also believe you can write a book about nearly anything you want to in our capitalist economy. The market then will bear fruit, or not, depending on the content. I wonder how many taxpayer paid educational dollars from librarians went to Toni Morrison instead of capitalist dollars direct from consumers?
But this issue is really about proper library curation based on following a written sexualized content policy, which nearly zero of the schools in Maine have. It should also be about the accountability in following the policy on signing off on books being brought in and ultimately it’s about parental control. This book never should have been brought into the school library to begin with. Books like this are intended for mature, adult audiences and generally the people who write and read this garbage have a few screws loose.
These books are intended to normalize sex, rape, drugs, violence, pedophilia…
In Maine, there are policies which place the final responsibility of the materials entering the library squarely on the Superintendent of the school, or his designate. But, this only works if the “useful idiot” in that seat understands the content the woke ALA librarian is bringing in.
Of course, that superintendent would also have to have a critically thinking school board holding them accountable. Generally, I’ve found it is a free-for-all on bringing sexualized books into the K-12 public school libraries and the classrooms. This was proven in RSU22, the Hampden Academy Principal, then Bill Tracy, didn’t even know the policy on the proper curation of books existed. Neither did the face-diaper wearing Hampden Academy Librarian Leslie Rosenblatt.
So the question remains from our parking lot conversation, would you put a loaded handgun in a library?
That’s a question Sam Manhart couldn’t seem to answer when I posed the question to him. This book, "The Bluest Eye" and books like this that some odd school employees fawn all over is similar to placing a loaded handgun in the public school library when it relates to the death of innocence for a child. Something that never can be given back and something that groomers want to take from minor students. I’ve documented hundreds of examples of this type of activity happening across Maine. We will unfortunately continue to find more as we have yet to see the majority of the iceberg below the waterline.
Sam Manhart states, “The book has to be picked up to be read.” A gun also has to be picked up to be fired. Both can be very damaging to those who are unprepared to use them. People like this guy are loading your kids' brains with damaging content. Some of these kids will be destroyed because of it. Pull your kids now.
Update - The original article contained the name of Ryan Crane, Assistant Principal in error. I am issuing this correction for that error. The guy didn’t provide his name and they look nearly identical, even when searching for “Sam Manhart,” the photo of Ryan Crane comes up.
